Tips for Cleaning Your Siding
Be Safe! If you use a ladder, make sure it is sturdy and have another person stand by to be your ground support. Wear eye protection when working above or even with your head or on windy days.
- It is always best to start cleaning siding at the top (start with gutters and eaves if necessary) and work your way down.
- Divide your siding cleaning project into manageable sections as you don't want the 30 SECONDS product to dry prior to rinsing.
- Use a pump sprayer to apply 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner to siding for even distribution.
- Keep the surface wet with 30 SECONDS for a few minutes to allow the product to work. Vertical surfaces like siding dry faster so after applying to a section, go back to the top a second time if necessary.
- In most cases, no brushing or scrubbing is necessary. If you have years of build-up, using a soft brush will take care of most stubborn siding stains.
- Rinse off with a garden hose. Do not point your hose up to rinse vinyl or wood siding as siding is meant to shed water coming from above, not from below. Many homes do not have a waterproof membrane to protect the house's framing from water forced under the siding from below.
30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner is biodegradable and safe for use around plants and animals when used as directed.
Just spray 30 SECONDS on
